To tell the story of Charlotte's debut, I sought deeply for her inspiration, exposing the collection’s cascade of fluid facets.

A handbag by Anya Hindmarch is handy if you love to wear your personality on your shoulder. Since she launched her collection, the British designer's eclectic philosophy always comes in clutch. Anya partnered with Barneys New York to adjust this strap a notch further. The Build a Bag concept offered the label’s popular keychains, stickers and patches, and in addition, allowed customers to choose from a capsule collection of handles, straps, and decorative accessories to create their own bucket bag.

Jameel Mohammed saw the map to high-end fashion to be a dead-end road. He refused to believe the advice from his college professors that luxury brands can only thrive in Milan and Paris. Instead, at 20 years old, he launched KHIRY—a jewelry collection with a very important message: luxury can emerge anywhere and speak to any culture. When KHIRY debuted at Barneys New York, I crafted copy to fully embody Jameel's vision of channeling the beauty and heritage of African Diaspora through every piece, working closely with the designer’s team based in Manhattan.

Exploring various mediums, infusing styles from the past and present, and working at one with organic elements, the American designer’s legacy speaks naturally to curators of unique taste. Wolfe’s residence at Barneys New York has evolved with product crossing into several categories. Overseeing web content for the luxury retailer’s jewelry department, I worked closely with Editors and Wolfe herself to illustrate her remarkable collections and surface the depth of story behind each piece.

Recently returning back to Barneys New York to freelance write and edit web communication, I crafted content to interpret this contemporary brand’s transcending product launch.
